How the reminder works
- Every appointment gets a reminder, whether booked online or entered by you.
- By default it goes out 24 hours ahead, never at night: only between 8 am and 8 pm. Switch it on or off under Promotions, Automatic sending.
- Anyone who booked for a few hours from now doesn't get a pointless reminder.
- Only clients with a mobile number who accept reminders get one.
Where are we now?
To be straight with you: reminder scheduling works, actual sending by text and WhatsApp is being switched on soon. Texts are included in Plus (100 a month) and Pro (300 a month), WhatsApp in Pro. You can buy extra credits if you need more. Nothing to set up again: once sending is live, reminders go out automatically.
What you can already do about empty slots
Let clients with an account cancel themselves within a window you choose, so a slot frees up in time. With the waiting list (Pro) whoever's waiting gets an email the moment something opens up. And with the Payments subscription you ask for a deposit at booking. More tips in our guide on reducing no-shows.
