Business verification: VAT number and website
We check every business so clients only find real businesses on maakjeafspraak.nu. Your VAT number is checked in the European VAT database (VIES). For your website we check that it's reachable and that your name or VAT number appears on it.
Open Your business
Under Settings. "Business verification" is at the top.
Read the result
For each item you see whether it's OK: your VAT number and your website.
Something not right?
Check the VAT number (BE and ten digits) or your website address, correct it and save. The check then runs again.
Good to know
If the European VAT database is briefly unavailable, try again later. It's not on your side. If it keeps failing, get in touch.
